Troy University: A Future of Opportunities

Excellence is a tradition at Troy University. Since it was founded more than a century ago, the University has been a leader in academics, administrative efficiency, student services, and affordability. This leadership has been recognized by a variety of individuals and organizations throughout the Southeast and the nation including Money Magazine, which named Troy University one of the top 25 "best buys" among the country's public universities and colleges.

Established in 1887, Troy University now serves approximately 31,000 students on campuses located in Alabama and across the globe at some 60 teaching sites in 15 U.S. states, 12 countries outside the United States, and one U.S. territory. Global in perspective, the university is committed to providing undergraduate and graduate education in regional, national, and international communities for both traditional and nontraditional students. Troy University is accredited by the Commissions of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Troy's Atlanta Site offers six graduate and four undergraduate degree programs, and an English as a second language (ESL) program.

Convenient, easily accessible locations and affordability are qualities that make Troy University stand apart from other educational institutions in Atlanta. Classes are offered in a variety of formats to include weeknight, weekend intensive, web enhanced, and online. Undergraduate students can complete a bachelor's degree in as little as three years. Transfer credit from a regionally accredited institution can shorten the length of time it may take to complete a degree at either level of study.

Troy University strives to deliver the best. Relevant coursework coupled with experienced, knowledgeable faculty prepare a student to go into their chosen field. Faculty offers both in class and work experience in their chosen field. Whether a student wants to go into public service in the local, state, or federal government or wants to be in corporate America, Troy University's degree programs provide the framework for success.
