The McMurry men’s and women’s track & field programs are both respected perennial national championship contenders, and the 2008 outdoor men’s track & field team was the first program in school history to bring home a national championship trophy. But success in athletic competition at McMurry isn’t exclusive to Coach Barbara Crousen’s illustrious track & field programs. McMurry possesses a strong athletic tradition across the board in all its 19 NCAA intercollegiate sports. In fact, McMurry had the most successful athletic program in the American Southwest Conference for the 2007-08 athletic year, according to the U.S. Sports Academy. Year in and year out, McMurry’s athletic teams are serious contenders for ASC West Division titles, conference championships and even national championships. McMurry athletics has a proud tradition, so come be a part of continuing that tradition!
