Computed Tomography
CT technologists are specially trained radiologic technologists with the knowledge of physics, cross-sectional anatomy and computers.
Dental Assistant
As a vital member of the dental health team, the dental assistant prepares the patient for treatment, provides the dentist with necessary instruments, instructs patients in proper oral hygiene, records dental services, and performs various laboratory procedures and managerial duties for the office.
Diagnostic Medicine
A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer receives specialized training to work with high-frequency sound waves that produce images of soft-tissue structures within the body.
Health Information Technology
A Health Information Technician, commonly known in the profession as a Registered Health Information Technician, performs a variety of health information-related functions, including organization, analysis, coding and technical evaluation of health information and interaction with administrative and financial departments of health-care facilities.
Histological Technician
The histologic technician works with a team of other health professionals and has minimal direct patient contact. One works with instruments to process, embed, and section tissue onto microscopic slides. Thereafter, the technician safely handles chemicals and dyes to perform tests on the sections to demonstrate pathological changes.
Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant is one of the top 10 fastest growing occupations in the U.S. Medical Assistants are cross-trained to perform administrative and clinical procedures in ambulatory health care delivery systems such as physicians offices, clinics and out-patient facilities.
Nuclear Medicine Technology
Nuclear Medicine Technology provides careers within the areas of nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, and positron emission tomography, and fusion imaging.
