OUR MISSION: TO EDUCATE MEN
Located in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and founded in 1832, Wabash is a private liberal arts college for men. WORK HARD, PLAY HARD
Wabash men push themselves hard in all areas of college life. Wabash's liberal arts curriculum allows men to major in any one of 23 fields, while producing well-rounded, flexible, and dedicated leaders who can adapt in a rapidly changing world.

To graduate, Wabash students must complete 34 courses, including a freshman tutorial and the sophomore-level Cultures and Traditions course, demonstrate proficiency in English composition and a foreign language, and pass senior oral and written comprehensive examinations. The academic program is divided into three parts: the sciences, humanities and fine arts, and the social sciences. With the help of faculty advisors, students choose one of 21 majors and also decide on a secondary course of study. In addition, students are required to complete cross-divisional distribution courses to complete the liberal arts program.

The library, fine arts center, athletics and recreation center, biology and chemistry building, modern languages facility, fraternities, and dorms have all been newly built or renovated within the last decade. Lilly Library features more than 400,000 bound volumes, 1,300 periodicals, and more than 8,000 audiovisual titles, plus a computer classroom and media center. All students living in College housing have full and free access to the Internet and the College's computing facilities from their rooms. There are six public computer classrooms and more than 200 computers on campus.

Outside the classroom, Wabash students have a wide range of activities to explore, including workshops, seminars, visiting artists and lecturers, films, music, theater, forensics, and varsity and intramural sports. Students govern themselves at Wabash through the Student Senate and Interfraternity Council (IFC) and control the entire student activities budget. The Student Senate recognizes more than 40 clubs and organizations. The Interfraternity Council governs Greek life at Wabash, which consists of 10 national fraternities. About 70 percent of Wabash men choose to join fraternities, and more than 40 percent compete in intercollegiate athletics.

INVESTING IN THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST
Wabash's scholarship and financial aid program, driven by a $300 million endowment, is one of the finest in the nation. Merit and need-based awards are made to qualified students. Scholarships range from $1,000 to over $26,000.

TO GET IN
A strong college preparatory curriculum in secondary school is recommended. SAT and ACT scores, counselors' recommendations, and the application essay are also important.
