Focused Preparation for Future Opportunities
The years after high school are an exciting time of discovery and preparation for the future – with a world of opportunities ahead of you. If you’re considering going to college, or if you plan to work while you earn your degree, AIU can help you move in the right direction to get where you ultimately want to go.
AIU Houston offers 28 undergraduate degree programs and specializations in the fields of Business, Accounting, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, and Fine Arts (graphic design, illustration, web design and visual communication). If you aren’t quite sure what you’d like to do in the future, at AIU you can discover a field that fits you, and – like thousands of AIU alumni – learn the industry current skills that can start you on your way.
AIU can reduce obstacles that may get in the way of earning a degree. We have flexible schedules – with part-time and full-time programs and day, evening, weekend and online classes. To help students pay for their education, we match each student with a dedicated Financial Aid Advisor who can put together a personalized financial plan that may utilize government grants, scholarships, loans and other sources of funds.*
When you graduate, our Career Services department is here to help you with your career search – or if you decide to go on to graduate school, we offer a Master of Accounting and nine Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializations.
AIU’s modern 68,000 square foot facility is technologically advanced, with wi-fi and industry-current computers and equipment. Students’ learning experience can be enhanced by on-campus resources that support our programs— including computer labs, team rooms, the Learning Resource Center, student lounges and an expansive virtual library.
Outside of class, AIU Houston students can participate in a variety of clubs focused on their personal and professional interests. The school also hosts many on-campus and off-campus activities – including open houses, job fairs, and social get-togethers.
Our campus is located in the Westchase District, the city’s distinctive business community that is home to numerous businesses and a short distance from the headquarters of several major corporations. The university is easily accessible by car or public transportation – in close proximity to shopping, dining, nightlife, cultural events and professional sports.
AIU students are part of a rich tradition that began in 1970 – to offer quality degree programs that are relevant to current opportunities. We have network of over 80,000 alumni who are making their way in a wide range of fields and specializations. From your first visit to our campus through graduation and beyond, our instructors and a team of advisors are here to help you achieve your educational and professional goals.
