Arcadia University is a coeducational, private university serving more than 3,700 undergraduate and graduate students. Founded in 1853, Arcadia is a comprehensive university offering more than 75 undergraduate and graduate programs of study in a personalized setting. Arcadia offers a wide variety of undergraduate majors, each leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, or Bachelor of Science degree.

Our campus in Glenside, Pennsylvania offers students the best of all worlds. Located just 12 miles from Center City, Philadelphia, Arcadia University offers a beautiful campus in a peaceful residential neighborhood. The campus, on the grounds of a former private estate, is distinguished by historic buildings, including Grey Towers Castle, a national historic landmark. With more than 80% of all full-time undergraduate students residing on campus, Arcadia offers a wide variety of activities including Division III athletics and more than 45 clubs and organizations.

Study Abroad
Arcadia's Center for Education Abroad, top-ranked in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, is one of the largest campus-based international study programs in the United States. With over 100 programs in 16 countries around the world, the Center for Education Abroad supports and implements the University's commitment to international education. Students have the opportunity to study overseas for a summer, semester or full-year for approximately the same cost as remaining on the Glenside campus.
Arcadia offers two distinct opportunities for students to study abroad during their first year of college. The University's London/Scotland/Spain Preview program enables first year students in good academic standing to spend their spring break London, Scotland or Spain. The unique First Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE) gives select incoming students the chance to spend their first or second semester in London, Scotland or Ireland. Arcadia's First Year Study Abroad Experience and Preview programs have been recognized as among the most innovative international programs in the country by the American Council on Education, U.S. News & World Report and The Princeton Review.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
On average, 98 percent of Arcadia's full-time undergraduates receive financial aid, and over 92 percent receive grants and scholarships. Every effort is made to see that students requiring financial assistance are able to attend Arcadia University. Aid is awarded on the basis of merit and need and is available in the form of grants, loans, and/or part-time campus employment. Arcadia University merit scholarships recognizing academic excellence, leadership and extracurricular accomplishments are presented annually to students.
