Location

art school in ohioThe Art Institute of Ohio was founded in 2004 and is located in the thriving northeast Cincinnati suburbs, just 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Known as the Queen  City, Cincinnati features great natural beauty with steep hills, wooded suburbs, a picturesque downtown riverfront, and four definite seasons. Awarded by Fortune magazine as one of the top ten places to live and work, the greater Cincinnati area is a three-state, 15-county region that offers world-class assets in arts and culture, amusements, hospitality, sports and recreation. Cincinnati features all the amenities of a large, bustling metropolis while maintaining a friendly, small town atmosphere - a unique balancing act of extraordinary contrasts - but one that makes the region a remarkably flexible location filled with a wealth of opportunities and options.

Cincinnati has officially been chosen as the Ohio Consumer Marketing Hub of Innovation. Already a "cradle of brands" with business giants Procter & Gamble, Kroger and Macy's, this hub designation will further position Cincinnati as a top location for consumer marketing worldwide. Nine Fortune 500 companies have established headquarters in Cincinnati, which places the city in the nation's Top 10 markets for number of Fortune 500 headquarters per million residents – higher than New York, Boston, Chicago or Los Angeles. In addition to Fortune 500 headquarters, more than 360 Fortune 500 companies maintain operations here. More than 1.5 million workers live within 50 miles of the heart of downtown Cincinnati.
