As a graduate of Atlanta School of Massage, you will be certified to practice professional massage therapy and well prepared to take the National Certification Examination for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Signature Massage Program — 25 years in the making
After years of refinement and growth and in response to current market demands, we proudly introduce our fully comprehensive signature massage program. Our team of experts has devised a unique 750-hour program that is based on a holistic, integrated approach to massage therapy. As a graduate of this program you will learn the disciplines that will enable you to truly be a renaissance massage therapist.
Our Foundation Courses, offered in the first of three trimesters, combine the scientific knowledge of the body, a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, Spa Therapies, communication skills and business practices to create an optimally effective massage therapist. The courses were intelligently crafted to provide a flexible and versatile foundation upon which to easily build a more advanced set of skills. A Clinical Practicum Course gives you valuable supervised experience providing massage services to the public.
The second and third trimesters include comprehensive courses in Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Clinical Massage, Pathology and Reflexology. The courses are taught using our signature integrated deep tissue approach. Our client-centered philosophy means that you learn how to interview, assess and treat each client to create a unique treatment experience, every session, every time.
Faculty
Our faculty is comprised of highly skilled, experienced, compassionate professionals who are committed to the success of their students. The massage and skincare instructors undergo a rigorous teacher-training program and on-going refresher courses. We are one of the few schools in the industry that invests in the expertise provided by a full-time teaching body. Many of our instructors have offered their expert guidance to our students for more than a decade.
