Beckfield College opened its doors in 1984 with two students and a curriculum built for that day and age: secretarial and word processing coursework. Today, the fields of study have changed to meet the ever-growing needs of the community, and the number of students has jumped to more than 1000. But, for every year during the past twenty seven years, focus on the student, your goals and challenges, and a personalized approach to scheduling, studying and counseling has been paramount.
“Beckfield offers something you don’t see at every college: a partnership between school and student,” explained Diane Wolfer, President of Beckfield College. “Our commitment to the student is strong and constant. In turn, students follow suit and commit to themselves and their education.”
Beckfield College personalizes an educational setting focused on you and your career aspirations. Our staff and faculty will know your name and your face. We offer a small campus feel – on-campus and online!
We help you every step of the way, beginning with the personal career assessment, through tuition planning, your program academics and career services upon graduation.
Beckfield College offers academic excellence for students of all ages, backgrounds and diverse needs and is focused on a personal approach to post-secondary education. Beckfield offers Bachelor’s or Associate degrees, along with Diplomas or Certificates, in the following areas of study: Addictions Counseling, Advanced Personal Training, Business Administration, Computer Network Administration, Criminal Justice, Health Information Technology, Hospitality Administration, Legal Nurse Consulting, Medical Assisting, Medical Massage Therapy, Medical Office Technology, Nursing (RN to BSN, RN*, LPN to RN*, LPN*), and Paralegal Studies. (*upon licensure) Programs vary by campus.
As these program areas evolve in the field, Beckfield responds to ensure that students are working with the latest in technology, teaching approaches and faculty expertise. Coursework in all programs is rigorous, but upon completion, students are completely prepared and trained to succeed.
Beckfield College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Academics are offered at campuses in Florence, Kentucky and Tri-County Cincinnati, Ohio and online. The Florence Campus is licensed by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.
