C. Mark Mann School of Dental Assisting is a Houston dental assistant school started by Dr. Mann when he realized that most dental assistants begin working without any knowledge of dental assisting. Often, if not most of the time, dental assistants are trained by their employer and they don’t learn all they should know. Dr. Mann started his Houston dental assisting school to help fill this knowledge gap and give dental assistants the tools they need to succeed in this career path.
Any two dental practices are different in many ways, but basic dental assisting knowledge is necessary for all dental practices. Training time must be spent on new dental assistants whether they are just starting out or already experienced, especially since dental assistants are in such high demand.
Location
Our Houston dental assistant school is conducted on Saturdays in the dental office-training center of Dr. Mark Mann. It is located in Sugar Land, Texas on Highway 6 between Highway 59 and Highway 90A.
Currently our classes meet on Saturdays only, but we plan to add additional classes to our Sugar Land Location in the near future. A Friday class is being considered. Please contact us to sign up for the next start date, (281) 794-7944.
Admissions & Classes
To apply for admission, you must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Students can also apply if they are currently enrolled in their last year of high school with their counselor’s written approval. The dental assistant career training is offered in a 10-week program. Classes are held on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
How to Apply
Step 1: Complete the application for enrollment.
Step 2: Choose one of the four payment plans.
Step 3: Make a deposit to reserve a space. (A minimum deposit of $200.00 is required to reserve a seat and this deposit will be deducted from the tuition)
Step 4: Call us to schedule your “training center” walk through visit and complete your onsite-required paperwork.
Please mail in your deposit with your application, because this will hold your place in the class. The deposit is due no later than March 24, 2012.
The tuition is $2750.00, and payment plans are outlined on the attached application form. (The deposit will be deducted from the tuition.)
