Concordia University Admissions Requirements

New Freshman

A high school student is any student coming to Concordia directly from high school with no college experience.  Once we have received all of your materials, we will evaluate your application and make an admissions decision. As long as you meet all of our minimum requirements, you will be accepted.

Those requirements are:

  • High School GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • SAT score of 1440 composite with a 480 verbal, 480 math and 480 on the writing section.
  • Students taking the ACT must score a composite of 20, with a 20 in each of the four sections. Concordia does not require students to take the writing test, but we recommend it and we will look for a score of 20.

Students who fall below the requirements will be evaluated by the Office of Admissions and may still be eligible for provisional admission to Concordia.

Transfer Students

A transfer student is any student who has college experience and has at least 18 transferable hours. Once we have received all of your materials, we will evaluate your application and make an admissions decision. As long as you meet our minimum requirements of a cumulative college GPA of 2.0 on at least 18 transferable hours, you will be accepted. Students who fall below the requirement will be evaluated by the Office of Admissions and may still be eligible for provisional admission to Concordia.
