DuVall's School of Cosmetology is a family-owned school dedicated to quality education with a vision for improvement of the cosmetology industry. The school's leadership has enjoyed tremendous success in the salon industry since 1977 in the DFW Metroplex. The licensed professionals who formed and own the school have well over 100 years of combined experience in the image industry. DuVall's School of Cosmetology is dedicated to providing students an enriched learning environment that empowers them to DISCOVER their passion for beauty and develop the professional and business SKILLS needed to succeed in the CREATIVE world of cosmetology arts and sciences; providing a quality education so the graduate is able to be successful in the fields of Cosmetology as well as Esthetics.
We are located in Bedford Texas, which is conveniently located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex.
Admissions Requirements
ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
General Requirements
- Have an informational interview with an admissions representative.
- Submit an application.
- Submit a completed enrollment agreement along with the non-refundable $50.00 registration fee.
- Register with the state regulatory agency and pay the required fee of $25.00.
- Provide proof of age, (must be at least 16 years of age) by submitting driver’s license, birth certificate or passport.
- Proof of Secondary Education or Pass the Ability to Benefit Test according to the institution's requirements.
- Enter into a financial agreement payable through cash, check, money order, credit card, debit card, or determine eligibility for Title IV, HEA funds or other financial aid programs.
- Present a copy of the Social Security card.
- If not a U.S. Citizen Student must provide Permanent Residency or appropriate visa issued by USCIS.
- Review and sign the Alcohol and Drug Prevention, and Anti-harassment Policy.
- Applicants with previous education must submit transcripts from previous school(s).
Academics
The school is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). The school has been accredited since 2009 by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). We are also a Nuts and Bolts Member School providing business training which creates five star graduates that are truly ready to enter the workplace and thrive! In addition we are a Sassoon Academy School Connection Member School, by choosing to attend this school, you will have the ability to graduate as a member of a small and unique group, a graduate of Sasson Academy/School Connection.
We offer career training in Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Instructor programs. Our Salon and Spa services feature Dermalogica, Rhonda Allison, and Sebastian products.
