Laurus Technical Institute (LTI) has two campuses in the Atlanta area and provides career training in the healthcare and HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) industries. LTI's career training programs provide the skills and confidence needed to increase earning potential and advance careers. LTI training programs combine classroom instruction, practical training and hands-on experience to prepare students for entry-level positions in either the healthcare or HVACR industries.

Medical Assistant
Medical assisting is one of the fastest-growing careers in the nation. These medical professionals serve as a vital part of a medical team, performing administrative and clinical functions.
To prepare our students for careers in medical assisting, we teach them to perform duties such as: taking patient medical history, recording vital signs and assisting physicians during exams.
Those who have graduated from our Medical Assistant program have found employment in doctors' offices, hospitals, medical clinics and nursing homes.
Medical Billing & Coding
Each time someone visits a medical facility, a bill is generated. For a busy medical office or hospital, this results in a high volume of paperwork. To receive payment for their services, they must rely on trained professionals to code and contact both individuals and insurance companies.
Our students are trained to fill this role through coursework in medical terminology, medical law and billing, and insurance and coding.
Graduates of our Medical Billing & Coding program have gone on to careers in hospitals, insurance companies and medical facilities.
Medical Office Administration
Scheduling appointments, handling patient records and filing are just a few of the important tasks performed by professionals in medical office administration. Without the organization of these staff members, patients would have difficulty seeing their doctor, and crucial patient medical history would be lost.
Students are trained using the same computer software found in medical offices nationwide.
Medical Office Administration program graduates are employed in medical transcription offices, physicians' offices, medical laboratories and hospitals.
Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR)
New construction and home or office remodeling are just a couple of the situations that require a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration professional.
We prepare our students for careers in HVACR through coursework in installation, service, maintenance, repair and commercial applications.
Students who have graduated from our HVACR program can be found working in a variety of jobs, including air conditioning service and installation, furnace service and installation, and air conditioning and heating sales.
