You have many options to consider when choosing your college.
At North Lake College, a two-year public institution, you have the opportunity to explore all of your options and discover and develop your true talents and interests. Small classes, involved faculty and a multitude of student services provide easy access to the world of higher education. Each semester, the college serves approximately 10,000 students who are enrolled in credit programs and 4,000 continuing education students.
The college provides a comprehensive educational environment where you can choose to pursue a degree or a career. North Lake offers the two-year Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and the Associate in Applied Science degrees.
Approximately half of North Lake students plan to transfer to a four-year institution and enjoy a high rate of success. Scholarships are available from area public and private universities for students who maintain a high GPA at North Lake.
You can also start your career from North Lake. The college offers certifications for more than 25 career fields. A certificate is not a degree, but a credential showing successful completion of a basic curriculum in a career field. Some certificates require two years to complete, others less time.
In addition to the main campus in Irving, the college has three satellite campuses to make getting a higher education especially convenient: the North Campus in Coppell, the South Campus in south Irving and the West Campus located by the DFW International Airport.
