Public Allies - Pittsburgh

Looking for something different after graduation?

Be the New Face of Leadership in Pittsburgh.

Public Allies is a 10-month AmeriCorps program that advances new leadership to strengthen communities, non-profits and civic participation. Allies serve their community through full-time apprenticeships in local non-profit organizations, receive leadership trainings from non-profit and community leaders, and create a team service project in the Pittsburgh community.

Allies are:

  • Young adults ages 18-30
  • US Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents
  • Have at least a high school diploma or GED

Program Benefits:

Gain valuable leadership skills
Receive coaching to pursue your goals, childcare, and health insurance
Build relationships with local leaders
Work for change
Earn $1,400 a month, $4,725 post-service education award.
