Academics
Simmons offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and programs; a number of integrated degrees and accelerated programs allow student to go directly from an undergraduate program to earning a graduate degree in areas such as education, health care, liberal arts, physical therapy, and science information technology. Other special programs offered are an honors program, study abroad, alumnae/i mentoring, and as a member of the Colleges of the Fenway, students are allowed to cross-register at any of the other five member colleges.
Simmons offers the many benefits of a small university: an innovative women's undergraduate college, renowned coeducational graduate programs, and the world's first MBA program designed for women. The exceptional internship and research opportunities provide hands-on experience and career exposure, which gives undergraduate students a range of professional skills and strengths needed for graduate school and an increasingly competitive job market.
Campus Life
Many students choose to live on the "quintessential New England" residence campus which features nine brick residence halls, a private landscaped quad, Bartol Dining Hall, the Holmes Sports Center, a student-run café, and the campus health center. Undergraduates love the fact that they can easily access the city's rich social and cultural resources, but also come home to a safe, friendly campus.
While not attending to their academic pursuits, many students choose to participate in the multitude of student clubs and organizations, community outreach and service learning programs, and extensive exercise and activity programs.
