Sinclair: Meeting the needs
The success of Sinclair is evident in its history—dating back to 1887. The college was founded by David A. Sinclair as an educational program in the YMCA. That small start blossomed into a full service education in the downtown Dayton campus, and more recently, expanded to Huber Heights and Englewood learning centers. The Courseview campus in Warren County which opened fall 2007, is part of Sinclair's mission to make education very accessible to the region's citizens.
Plus, with Sinclair's five online academic programs, students can truly get an associate degree anytime, anyplace.

Sinclair: Affordable
Sinclair has a long-standing reputation for making college education easily accessible and affordable. At $45.00 per credit hour for Montgomery County residents ($73.50 for non-residents), Sinclair has the lowest per hour tuition of ANY college in the state of Ohio. What's more, with Sinclair's low tuition a student can obtain a college education without a lot of debt.
Even though Sinclair has Ohio's lowest tuition rates, a student may need financial assistance to cover education costs. Sinclair's Financial Aid & Scholarships office will help a student apply for financial aid, scholarships and work-study programs to meet the difference between education costs and what the student and family are able to pay. Sinclair gives more than $29 million in federal, state and scholarship aid each year.
