Located on the southwest side of the city of Fort Wayne, the 108-acre campus includes beautiful walks with tree-lined views of Mirror Lake. The historic Bass Mansion, the Pope John Paul II Center, the Doermer Family Center for Health Science Education, Bishop D'Arcy Stadium, and the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center are among the University's impressive facilities. Four residence halls offer traditional, suite, and apartment-style accommodations.

The tuition and fees assessed by the university remain among the lowest of any private university in the region. Financial aid is also available; over ninety-five percent of students receive some type of financial aid.
Approximately 2,100 undergraduate and graduate students attend the University of Saint Francis. The student population is diverse in terms of religious faiths, philosophies and ethnic backgrounds.
With more than 210,000 residents, Fort Wayne is the commercial and cultural center of northeast Indiana. Fort Wayne has an excellent art museum and galleries, a botanical conservatory, a philharmonic orchestra, a renowned children's zoo, numerous civic and community theatres, and an extensive park system as well as professional basketball, baseball, arena football, and hockey franchises.
The University of Saint Francis Cougars are rapidly building a reputation for excellence in athletics. Fifteen intercollegiate athletic programs are offered:
- Men: baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, and track & field.
- Women: basketball, cross-country, softball, soccer, tennis, track & field, volleyball, and golf.
The university maintains membership in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Mid-Central Collegiate Conference (MCC). In recent years, the university has captured the conference championships in football, women's basketball and men's basketball.
