Founded in 1904, Wentworth Institute of Technology is an independent, co-educational, nationally-ranked institution offering career-focused education through 15 bachelor's degree programs in areas such as architecture, computer science, design, engineering, engineering technology, environmental science, and management of technology.

Wentworth takes pride in educating students in technical disciplines through a nationally recognized model of hands-on, real world problem solving combined with classroom instruction and cooperative work experience.     The Colleges of the Fenway is one of Boston's largest academic collaborations. This partnership with Emmanuel, Simmons, and Wheelock colleges, Massachusetts College of Art, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences features cross-registration, combined social events, and an expanded campus community.
