Nursing School in the Philadelphia Area
Wesley College Department of Nursing has a long tradition of providing innovative nursing education. Wesley College began the first Associate Degree Nursing Program in Delaware in 1967.
In response to the increased demand for nurses and the growing emphasis on community-based care, requiring a nurse armed with higher levels of independence and critical thinking, Wesley College Department of Nursing now offers a program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The BSN program is fully accredited by the NLNAC.
The Department of Nursing has its own computer laboratory, as well as a clinical skills laboratory equipped to simulate various health care settings. Both labs are designed to assist the nursing student in learning new skills and developing critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
